Slapstick mockumentary about an enthusiastic Aussie wildlife expert, Russell Coight, whose haphazard and inept adventuring style ensures that he is a danger to anything and anyone he meets, not to mention himself.
The idea for the show came from a series of skits from The Late Show (1992) entitled "Wallaby Jack".

There is a running gag through out the serious of deliberate continuity and factual errors. For example when two people go to shake hands there is a cut to a close up shot of two hands shaking, but it always the same clip no matter who we see about to shake hands.
Any comments critical of Mr Peter Fooks, his family or employees of The Lure Shop are unreservedly withdrawn. The Producers wish to make it clear that aboriginal people have never considered termite mounds a major part of their diet.
