Superb, Imaginative and Totally Playable

Aliens is one of the finest examples of Coin-Op games of it's era. The gaming experience is superb and totally captures the creepy intense feel of the movie, If your a fan of Aliens Definitely check this out. So much attention to detail; such as the measured marine walk animation, the gorgeous industrial psychedelic backdrops, and all the wacky Alien Mutations!! All this set with a freaky Proto-Trance-Synthpop soundtrack, squealing Aliens and of course the Thermal Roar of the Smart Gun!! Exactly how a Coin-Op movie conversion should be!! and more.....

Captures the feel of Aliens

Although it goes a little overboard (3 headed aliens, aliens that morph, fly, spit acid, roll into armored balls, etc...) mostly because it is a video game, this game does capture the feel of Aliens rather well. I remember playing this in the arcade when it came out in 1990 and was amazed by it. Somehow, something about it is just so Aliens it's creepy. If you can find it, give it a try. I guess there's arcade emulators out there on the internet now.

i used to love playing this game back in the 90's in our local muzz(amusements/arcade). every Saturday i would waste a pound a time to complete it(i even completed it on 60p one time) it was 10p for 3 lives back in the halcyon days of arcade games! but the feel and the length of the levels was astonishing! some of the best levels were the ones when you were mounted on the front of the APC with a gun blasting away at the aliens,or the final battle where you get to use a powerloader to lift and drop the queen into the airlock!(niece i remember on the final battle with the queen that if you just kept shooting her loads of times she just exploded into loads of pieces in the cargo bay!) luckily i have a MAME emulator now and have the aliens rom which means i can play it on my PX anytime i like now! :0) . if anyone is still lucky enough to find it in there local amusements or cafe' in the uk mail me and let me know where it is!

Cracking Stuff

Great game, I spent loads of ten P's on this one, its a cracking

game of that era... if you an aliens fan you must check it out! - there

are plenty of emulators out there, and its easy enough to find the

rom - the best thing about this game is the Music however, its simply

fantastic! driving an extremely playable game - dont bother with the

two player, its nowhere near as intense!
