This is the best anime series I have ever seen, music is fabulous, maybe the real protagonist! If you like shoujo and Japanese pop music, you'll love this! The character's design is beautiful, the story is narrated in a realistic way (no magical girls): the ups and downs of a young girl in her personal struggle to become an idol singer. What can I say about the music? It is better to listen to it! So if you can find the OST for this series, just play it and enjoy! There are a few good websites about Idol Densetsu Eriko, worth seeing them! Pay a visit and get to know this wonderful anime!
