Video Game | Action, Horror, Mystery
Remake of the first game in which the RPD squad, Jill and Chris, are forced to flee into a mysterious mansion. Featuring new gameplay mechanics, revised puzzles, additional explorable areas, a revised script, and new story details.
This is the only Resident Evil game that lets the gamer use the M202A1 FLASH (FLame Assault SHoulder weapon), a four shot rocket launcher. But it's only available for the final battle against the Tyrant (T-002).
Whenever the player is inside the mansion, a thunderstorm can be heard rumbling outside as well as flash of lightning outside the windows. However, whenever the player is outside the mansion, there is no rumble of thunder or lightning present.
After the credits, a screen shows up telling you what your play time was. Wesker's voice can be heard telling your character that you did well, which is strange he said that because in this game series, Wesker prefers Chris and Jill dead.
Re-mastered, in 2015, for PS3/4 and XBOX 360/One in wide-screen, surround sound, high definition, sharper picture and slight camera movements.
