Bud Lee and his favorite scripter George Kaplan know a good thing when they see one, so the duo recycled the ingenious gimmick of their 1999 Metro video "La Femme Chameleon" into this obscure but worthwhile Adam & Eve release.
Switcheroo is that while "La Femme" had lovely Cherokee turning into another lady (enter fresh porn actresses) after she had an orgasm, this time Devon Wolf, who co-starred in the earlier film, goes through the transformations after each money shot. This "La Ronde" structure is highly effective in porn, creating an interesting story and logically introducing a variety of artistes along the way, rather than the arbitrary sex scenes with non-characters usually inserted as necessary XXX filler in an Adult feature.
This follow-up is better than the original because of Kaplan's clever story structure, in which Wolf is explaining his problem to sex therapist Elizabeth X, who wisely concludes this would make a perfect case study for her to publish in a scholarly medical journal. Elizabeth steals the show, even though this feature was clearly earmarked as a star vehicle for Bridgette Kerkove, whose character is not central to the show.
Yet another example of the extremely underrated (even disparaged by no-nothing critics) Bud Lee turning straw into gold.
