  • Shown in France under the title "Le Train de l'Aventure", this film is in fact, German. Reasonable european-quality adventure film rather along the lines of the Agatha Christie films with always a slight doubt in the spectator's mind as to who is the gooddie and who is the baddie. Basically filmed in the Far East ( Singapore, Thailand .............) the film will appeal to lovers of the Orient Express and its wonderful interiors. The ending is a little flat and uneventful compared to the rest of the film which, though not a masterpiece of suspense, makes for reasonable watching without having to make one's brain cells function beyond their normal capacity !
