- Teacher: Heroes - what and who exactly are they? They come in all shapes and sizes and can be found almost anywhere. They can be achievers in the various fields in which we hope to excel ourselves, or they may work in areas totally unrelated to our everyday lives and become idols of our own fantasies. Pop music and movie stars fall in this category, or they may be members of one's own family - a favorite uncle or, in many cases, an older brother. They are all looked up to and admired for the roll they play in one's own life. This is especially true if the family member is someone who helps or teaches.
- Sailor's Little Brother: My brother is my hero. He was always helping me out when I was in trouble. He taught me how to play ball, how to fish, and lots of other things. We shared a bedroom, and late at night, after everyone was asleep, we'd always tell each other all our secrets. He was just about the best friend I ever had.
- Sailor's Little Brother: [writing about his older brother] I'll never forget how unhappy I was when he told us he'd joined the navy. I knew it was going to be a long time until I saw him again. He just laughed and told me he'd be back before I knew it. He wasn't. I still miss him a lot and wish he'd come back home, at least for a long visit. My ambition is to join up, just like he did, so we'll both be in the navy. Maybe we'd even be on the same ship - that would be great! - then we could share more secrets late at night when everyone else on the ship was asleep.
- Sailor Hero: If you don't stop that, you'll go blind.
- Sailor's Little Brother: Hell, if you go blind doing this, you'd have been blind a long time ago.
- Sailor Hero: Yeah? How would YOU know?
- Sailor's Little Brother: I used to watch ya at night after you went to bed.
- Sailor Hero: How'd that feel?
- Sailor's Little Brother: Great. Can I try it?
- Sailor Hero: I don't know. Think you can handle it?
- Sailor's Little Brother: I'd sure like to try. Come on, let me try.
- Sailor Hero: Okay, you can try. Watch those teeth. Thing's tender, you know.
- Little Brother's Classmate: Yeah, get 'em wet. Get 'em good and wet, 'cause you're gonna get it, and you're gonna love it.
- Baseball Hero: Hey, kid, why don't you go up there and let your buddy suck your dick?
- School Pitcher: [just star-struck and game for anything] Okay.
- Baseball Hero: All right.
- School Pitcher: Good idea.
- Steve's Friend: [to Steve] Ow! Take it easy, man. Not so hard.
- Baseball Hero: [to Steve] That's all right. Keep it in there, kid.
- Late Paper Student: AHH! Hold it, hold it, hold it.
- Teacher: Should I stop?
- Late Paper Student: No. Hold it.
- Late Paper Student: [after a pause] Okay.
