Before porn-parody became a dirty word, Adam & Eve and filmmaker Stuart Canterbury displayed creativity and craftsmanship in this entertaining feature made just as VHS was being replaced by the new DVD format.
With a music score mocking the tv "Batman" theme and title/some characters in the vein of Marvel's X-Men, the story is less important than the high style, atmospherics and imaginative costumes on display.
Title refers to a trio of buxom superheroines (Gina Ryder, Bridgette Kerkove and Angelica Sin) who used to work with the local police before falling out of favor, but signalled back into action (a sort of a Bat signal used) to combat supervillains Chloe, Evan Stone and others created by evil mastermind Dr. Wang (Mike Horner).
Cast is in high spirits, and the mix of explicit sex with derring-do is impressive. DVD version also includes an All-Sex cut, anticipating the subsequent drive to gonzo by porn fans (83 mins. Running time reduced to 54 mins. For sex only).
Besides the three title stars, Chloe and Jewel D'Nyle are hot baddies, while blonde beauties from two continents Silvia Saint and Shay Sweet team up as a kidnapped ambassador and her assistant making lesbian love while in captivity.
