The 2010 science-fiction thriller The Tenant, starring horror movie legend Michael Berryman (The Devil’s Rejects) and Bill Cobbs (Get Low), arrived on DVD on Aug. 16 from Indican for a list price of $24.99.
Written and directed by Ric La Monte (Night Terror), the film tells the tale of altruistic doctor Walter Newman (Randy Molnar), who attempts to cure human deformities through DNA splicing, an obsession he works on via experimentation on patients at the Edgewood Asylum.
Newman ignores both his pregnant wife Olivia (Georgia Christ) and a scheming nurse (Sylvia Boykin) with an evil agenda, and everything goes horribly wrong when Olivia delivers their twins — one, a beautiful baby girl; the other, a deformed creature that defies nature.
