Dawn Marie had debuted on WWE Smackdown!: Episode #3.39 (2002) (May 30, 2002) as "Dawn Marie Rinaldi," who was supposed to be Vince McMahon's paralegal. Here, commentator Michael Cole (Michael Coulthard) mentions this when she walks out for the opening round, "Tiny Teddy," and Jerry Lawler makes a joke about how he'd "like to see her briefs." Given Vince McMahon's sense of humor, this may have been the entire reason for the gimmick. This and many other Lawler lines is why "bad joke" is listed as a keyword.
