  • Well hey.. Ya i would like to comment on this movie.. It was fabulous.. Many people would think that a rich person could not marry a poor person.. Well this is where you are wrong.. In this film, it shows that even though you are rich of poor, u could still marry another person with another status.. It has many of suspense and some emotional features.. You must really see this movie i recommend u.. It has some romantic features.. The place they are acting are not quite bad but if the person is poor, the place must be where poor people are living and well.. I know everything that i'm writing does not make any sense but really i really would like u all to see this show...
  • Pangakosayo is currently being screened on one of the local TV channels in Uganda. It has taken up so many people in away that you move on the streets & feel it when 7 out 10 people are discussing it.Instead of Pangakosayo/the promise as it is known, many call it Yna.Very often you hear one saying,"i don't want to miss Yna today" & you'll know that it's Pangakosayo he/meant.Personally i enjoy every minute of it &when I see Cris Daluz (Isko Macaspac) acting,i don't blink.I just love the old man.Currently w're on the episode where Amor (Eula Valdez) doesn't know who of Yna(Kristine Hermosa)&Maria Amor is her real daughter. My whole family loves it.
  • Hi I';m a great great fan of pangako SA yo. I love this movie cos it is encompasses many features that is happening in the real world. It taught that Love is beyond everything. Love for a person, love your job, love ur family, love ur enemy too!! This movie has opened my mind to every person i know. And to be successful in life is not easy. You must go through a lot of pain to gain success. Love don't come easy. There's a lot of sacrifices to be made. Strong will power, patience and perseverance is a must. Overall it taught us how to LOVE while u r still alive and Appreciate whatever u have in life.......... I love this MOVIE!!

Me and my wife have been away from home for 21 yrs and have not really watched any Pilipino movies since. Lately my sisters here have been lending us tele-series movies( we have seen 3 so far) and since then we were both hooked to it.I know for a fact that acting, writing, dancing, singing are just one of the strenghts of our ancestry. These are in our blood as Filipinos. The 3 tele-series we have seen are all superb, starting from the writers, actors, actresses, and all those talented people who made these kind of films possible. Of the 3 movies that I have seen, I like Pangako Sa Iyo the best. Actually I have seen the other 2 movies first before " pangako" and during that time I rated those two movies as the best Pilipino movies I have ever watched not until I have seen "Pangako"(we have just watched volume 30 for now as I was writing this) and YES this is the best ,superb ,dramatic movie have ever been produced .Yna and Angelo did a very superb job and so with the rest of the actors and actresses. Our congratulation to them for a job very well done. No wonder even non-Filipinos abroad love it very much. More power to you all

    Love

  • One of the most endearing and very touching movie. I really enjoyed the cast as well as the storyline. Great acting by all and once more Filipino movies always has a certain touch where it hits you right at the heart!!!!!!

I am impressed on how they are able to profile all the many ways of how people view other people whether it be by status, gender or race. It was done in a way that I looked forward to coming home and watching the next episode.Keep up the good work on making Filipino movies very enjoyable and adding a cast of good actors and actresses.

Ina and Jericho really have a nice chemistry with each other and it's so touching to see them when they are embraced with one another with their tears. The older generation actors and actresses I applaud them for being so very professional as they make it seem like it is so real.I hope that there will be a continuation of this series.

    Warning: Spoilers
i really like this movie .from the actress Yna i have learned a lot.i have learned to always always hold to my dreams and never give up .if i were to recommend something i will recommend this film to all African youths it has a great message for them

i really like Yna because i see myself in her.All the actors and actresses are so wonderful they really know how to act .They do their parts so well and real .I love them all

This movie is also good because of its religious background.Through Yna and Agelo the message of abstinence has been brought out.the Movie is void of immorality. As a Christian i will say that is very good.

She acted very well along side Angelo. The play was so good in a way that it was ranked number one in Tanzania.

Up to today, people talk about Yna and Angelo. They should visit Tanzania to confirm that...

I was so happy to see finally Yna and Angelo re united after the long journey of family misunderstanding.

There was a time I thought that Madam Claudia was the real mother of Yna and the only problem was that she did not recognize her.

I never thought that even Phillipines people can despise poor people like in most areas in Africa. For example Claudia never liked Yna just because she was coming from poor background.

Thank GOD that she got what she worked for after long sufferings...

i really loved the film.it was fabulous.the actors were all good.two thumbs up.it was a film of pain and joy.it was so nice.the film showed us all and taught us that no matter how rich you are you can still marry a poor person.it was romantic and also lovely.you must watch it.it is an unforgettable film.it is full of emotion and feelings for one another.well there are no words to actually describe the film.there will be no film like that again i guess.if there is i am sure this world would be filled with love there will be no hatred,no boastfulness about been rich, and peace would prevail.
  • The movie had been start shown in our country about 6 weeks ago by one of the wonderful TV channel'ONE Africa TELEVISION and I find it very interesting and every Wednesday and Thursaday I make sure Iam there to watch it. My sisters and brothers are also crazy about it.I like Yna-Kristine Hermosa most she is great. I wish she can come and visit us at Namibia.I also like Angelo he did not allow his mother to manipulate him to by stoping him to love Yna.he also decide that he is going to love Yna even though she is poor and a maid. I think Angelo is a great guy who know what does it mean to live somebody without considering her back ground and how poor or rich she is. Good lucky to all the actors in the drama.

since i joined ma guardians in Nairobi from upcountry, i found that the the national television(KBC) was airing pangako sa yo' as "the promise" having watched it, i was impressed by the casting and more so, i had gone through exactly what Yna and Angelo had gone. what a coincidence i could not imagine. the cast was excellent. my suggestion is, maybe you could arrange with our 4 local TV stations to market you films and air episodes of the preferred movies as well as soap operas. in this i will greatly appreciate your concern over my wish. i would even rather plead with my guardians to buy a telly instead of visiting our neighbour every evening to catch up with the cast.
  • Hi, I just want to say that I have tried everything I could possibly thing just to watch this series Pangako Sa 'Yo and I can't find anywhere to watch it from. Even here IMbD. I have add to my watch list but it's not taking me to the episode. Please coming if you know where I can watch this series with eng sub. Thank you
  • I'm very happy for this come back of "pangako sa'yo" aka The Promise :) I used to watch this when I was 3 with my family but I really don't understand anything about it ..I remember my mom crying while watching it and I was just staring at her ,clueless about what's going on :D So now that its back ,I'm finally going to understand..Actually I was watching the first airing of the new "Pangako Sayo" here in the Philippines earlier.. And "GOSH !!" That's all I can react all the time while watching it .. So obviously there would be a big different from the original ,specially the new cast but Filipino actors and actresses are very fluent in acting..Surely no one would feel the difference.. I just hope that other countries could watch this and will love it as much as they love the original TV series..And I wish they would love the new cast too ,specially the Philippines teen queen and king Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla..

    Soi :)

A Must Watch "Soap Opera" I Spend 3 sleepless nights watching box1,2,3...twice. What A Shame?I got carried away...i was feeling groggy, had puffy eyes, body was aching...but was worth it...will be watching again!Luv Jericho Rosales n Kristine Hermosa 4 their acting n Beauty.Hope 4 a happy ending? This story is real to life as it can be.Some rich people are heartless, manipulative ,greedy,selfish......"Nobody" want to know you when you are poor, you become a social outcast. This Serial Awakens the soul to humble themselves to the realty of this world.People who are poor in the material world are rich in the soul....This is what "Pangako Sa'Yo"is about! I'ts an Excellent show.....
  • I left the Philippine 25 years ago for United States and at that time there's no such filipino channel here in the South East.Back home I watch teleserye every night and I missed those days, since I saw this teleserye PANGAKO SAYO on YouTube from the very first time I got hook up on this for more than 24 hrs. without sleeping at all. I like plot the setting and all the cast they are all versatile actors and actresses especially Kristine who played Yna and Echo who played Angelo. The story is about two people who love each other very much but they live in two different world one is rich and the other are poor.Angelo don't really care whither Yna are poor as long as they have strong love for each others and they sacrifice for it and together they face all the consequences and all odds and hurdles. But in the end love prevail, Yna and Angelo won and Amor and Eduwardo end-up together again and Lourdes back to Diego's arms. But as for Madame Claudia she end -up in the Big House for the rest of her life but she has also a happy ending,Simon took her back and married her in jail and they all have a happy ending and also they forgive each others. This is really a very good teleserye and I salute the Director, the Producer and the Script writers thank you for making this Pangako Sayo and all the cast who participate in this beautiful Epic. I still love to watch this over and over and I never get tired of watching Yna and Angelo.
