While growing up I heard a lot about this movie but never got around to watching it. I finally watched it 43 years after it was released. It has aged very well. Acting was excellent by one and all especially Jayan. I understand why he had such a huge fan following. His movies are still relevant in this day and age, when more recent movies from 90s seem dated. Seema/Jayan had good chemistry between them. The story line was good, kept my attention all along, while the dialogues were memorable and songs melodious to this date. Anybody looking for a good quality vintage movie I would suggest this one.

raju3161 November 2006Very good movie for the time it was made. I was probably 4 years old when I first saw it and seen the movie recently. And it still good. Has action, drama, tragedy. Jayan we see why he was one of the top actors sadly cut down in real life at his prime. Sukumaran very versatile actor. Papu and Kunjan everybody's favorite comedy relief. Seema in her prime what a body you can now I know why she was one of the best actress of her time. Then you have your usual Villains and Balan K. Niar plays his role as only he can. This movie has a bit of everything action, drama, tragedy, Spice. Please see it if you can get your hands on it.
