A girl makes a wish on her thirteenth birthday, and wakes up the next day as a thirty-year-old woman.
Gary Winick structured the film as a series of stages, following Jenna's growth, self-discovery, and eventual redemption.
Move it, dorkus.
In the beginning of the movie when Jenna is in the closet, she pulls out the tissues from her shirt, and they land in separate places on the floor. After she pushes Matt out and tells him she hates him, the tissues on the floor change position.
As you near the end of the credits, the song "Love is a Battlefield" blends to include the audio of the girls singing along during their sleepover.
