I am always interested to watch some gud movies of Shabana.... but this was certainly not in that list......While surfing TV i suddenly stop at Star Gold and found the movie with actress Shabana and then on to my high expectation I watched the movie and can say one of the very gud simple kind of movies ....

Simple story line but gud presentation of character. Spec the Scenes of Match-stick game....superbly great.... One by one taking things from the looser....Loved that !!! (Things were not Clothes like in 100 girls..but like Spectacle , Cigarette etc)

The end of the movie was some how abrupt but still it was a good movie to watch.

Why on the earth esp in Bollywood such kind of simple/loving movies are not made now a days...And also If someone tries then not appreciated by the audiences..... God Knows..
  • I am great fan of those romantic flicks which are made in hill stations. This one is one of them. Actor is Naveen Nischol (a heartbroken businessmen) falls in love with a college professor Shabana on vacation. Story is very very sweet and songs are very beautiful (Koi Awaaz na do and Ek baar kaho). This is also first movie of Anil Kapoor who worked as a sidekick of hero and falls in love with actress friend. Location was beautiful a very silent kind of romantic movie with light moments. This one is a perfect example of feel good movie. I will recommend all of you to give this a one time watch as its not a title one would miss.

    Rate- 8/10

One of the best yest-years movie. This movie has been copied in bits and pieces into various movies like Mann, Chupke Chupke, etc.... but still remains a master piece. Worth a watch if you have'not seen this already. Naveen Nischol proves it again that he can act. Shabana was perfect as usual Madan Puri did a good job Anil Kapoor is a side actor. This is during his struggling days. I wanted to know who played the character of Chutki (chipkali - Aparna) in the movie. She looked like a youngster with a promise. The scene of putting the matchbox in the glass was done very well. Specially because there was no camera trick involved here and I bet out leads would have had to practice a hell lot in order to get it right into the glass. Asking for the specs , the clip was classic and so was the asking for the lighter, case and others. Was Chutki moon moon sen?
