  • It opens with two old guys out at night and fearing ghosts. They instead encounter Little Unicorn and his pal. They are wandering kung fu guys looking for a place to spend the night. Ah Chung is Little Unicorn's pal. A woman lets them in her house then warns them it is haunted. Cut to the two old guys who are killed by a ghost. The ghost then proceeds to bone the lady who let our guys in. Daylight brings a tournament. Two chicks intervene to ensure no one gets hurt. Little Unicorn fights first and it is clear he is going for the comedy.

My copy is full screen with dual subtitles. It seems a fan added English subtitles on top of the embedded Chinese. Thank you, anonymous fan!

I watched this movie because of one actor – Unicorn Chan, aka Little Unicorn. I previously watched his movie "Fist of Unicorn" or "Unicorn Palm". That movie is more often titled "Bruce Lee and I". Bruce Lee had little if anything at all to do with that movie. Unfortunately it was marketed as if he had and this lead to many viewers disappointed in the movie. I wrote in my review if you ignore all the Bruce Lee nonsense and just watch the movie as a typical martial arts movie it is actually above average. Unfortunately, I should have let it go after the first movie.

This movie tries to be a comedy, ghost, and martial arts movie and fails at all three.

Wow i just got round to seeing this for the first time (the fairy the ghost and Ah Chun) and it was great, i loved it.

It always amazes me when i find an old kung fu film from this period that turns out to be this good, but i do try to choose those kung fu movies that look like they will have some comedy and ghosty elements, and this ticks all the boxes.

In fact the horror bits are done very well as too is the comedy and of course the kung fu.

Fung Hark On is the most familiar face to kung fu film watchers but he is not the lead (rarely is).

Really enjoyable and i plan to watch again very soon.

At least 8 out of 10.
