Entertaining amalgam of porn, the surreal horror flick "The Cell", "Seven" and "Silence of the Lambs". Porno great Rocco Siffredi directs just like he performs -- with unbelievable energy. Production-wise, this top shelf porn flick is very sophisticated and impeccably well designed and lit. Unfortunately, it is shot on video. The video images are arresting enough, but shad it been shot on film, it would have looked amazing.

Chris Knight, an overracting English gent, is "The Ass Collector", a cross-dressing nutjob who has kidnapped a number of Northern European beauties so he can collect them in his chamber of perversion, subject them to artificial stimuli, and fondle them at will. Rocco plays a cop on Knight's case who screws his way through a plethora of gorgeous women before arriving at the Ass Collector's hideaway and entering the nutjob's mind (ala "The Cell") via a complex series of electronic devices.

As this is a Rocco production, the porn is hard and hot. Lots of anal sex, passionate rimming, double penetration, S&M, lesbianism, cunnilingus, fellatio, all the usual and not so usual kinks. There are also a couple of action sequences involving cars and a motorbike, a helicopter sequence, some shoot-outs, and some embarrassing dramatics. Say what you want about Rocco, there is no arguing that he is a committed pornographer and hard-boiled cocksman. He recruits the hottest, sluttiest temptresses and knows exactly what punters want him to do with them.

It's a shame such a handsome production was not captured properly on film. Still, this is pretty dynamic stuff.
