Elektra the warrior survives a near-death experience, becomes an assassin-for-hire, and tries to protect her two latest targets, a single father and his young daughter, from a group of supernatural assassins.
A short clip used in the trailers and TV commercials shows a ring of energy emanating from what appears to be the hedge maze that is featured during the final action sequences. This footage does not appear in the US theatrical release.
You know, I used to be the Treasure and I don't like being replaced. So let's keep your death between you and me.
During one flashback, Elektra goes back to her ride in the ambulance when she dies. The paramedics use a defibrillator on her. A defibrillator is only supposed to be used on bare skin but they have it being used over a leather vest. (This was most likely done to help connect the flashback to her final scene in Daredevil by showing the costume she wore that night.)
In the credits, many Roman letters are replaced either by their Greek equivalents or by similar-looking characters (for instance, Sigma resembles the capital letter E).
