Alice de Hassenbourg is the head of the duchy of Hassenbourg: her Prime Minister,Monclar, is preocupied by the economical problems of the country. Alice has also debts. And sudden her assistant Marina shows some magazines in which there are a lot of pictures of Alice de Hassenbourg and her former butler Pierre Jourdan and the confession that Pierre has always loved the duchess Alice. Then Alice travels to Geneva to participate in an econmical summit. For reasons of security Alice can not leave the embassy to pay a visit to Pierre, but suddenly she has a idea . She will contract Eva Bulot, a professsional impersonator , to take her place in the embassy and so disguised as Eva Bulot she can encounter Pierre. But the things will become more and mor complicated.

It's just a pleasant comedy with good actors and actresss: Anny Duperey, François Marthouret, Jean-Marie Winling, Philippe Khorsand, Nicole Bachman Jean-Alexanfre Blanchet and Constance Dollé.

    A pleasant comedy.

Just saw this film this afternoon on France 2. It was a real torture. After one minute, I hoped it would be a parody, because the actors, dialogs, the music, the montage and the direction were just awful ! Anny Duperey is just ridiculous, like all the main actors (except maybe the MAAF guy), every word that seems important is emphasized with a incredibly bad conviction... Not to mention the violin soup music ... You can often see that the movie was post-synchronized ... The only voluntary funny moment is when La Grande Duchesse appears to the crying lady. It is the worst movie I have ever seen, and I think it will be hard to make worst.
