    cheesy, predictable and fun

I usually don't like sequels, and I most often hate when they do a third movie. Well for some odd reason I really enjoy watching the blade movies. The first Blade is of course the best by far, but I still enjoy the two sequels. There were some things that annoyed me about Blade: Trinity, and that was how the action sequences was shot. Very up and close, with fast cutting so you really can't see what is being done. Old Hollywood trick when the actor or actress doesn't know martial arts but we are meant to think that he/she does. But if you take away that fact, you still have about two hours with action, one liners and people too cool for their own good. This is Blade ladies and gentlemen, and you know he will get the job done while saying cheesy lines and killing bad guys off one by one. If you go to see this movie, keep an open mind because if you want a good movie you will be disappointed. If you on the other hand want to be easily entertained without having to think about plot holes and bad lines, you will be glad you went. I rate this movie 6/10

    Wesley Snipes can stand alone

The main problem with Blade:Trinity is that the director - for some odd reason - forgot that Wesley Snipes can hold his own. He was the reason people went and saw the first two movies. As Blade, he is the king of badass cool. Trinity was disappointing because they siphoned all of his humor off onto Hannibal, and he lost a lot of battle scenes to Abby. This was unnecessary. I didn't go to watch either of those actors try desperately. I went to watch Wesley Snipes as Blade. And then, casting decisions? Who chose Parker Posey to play a vamp? Who did her hair? What insanity was going on on the set? And why, why, why, why didn't Paul Levanesque take his shirt off? Come on. Waste of money, and that from a Blade sci-fi fan.

    Disappointing, but not bad

Upon my first viewing of BLADE: TRINITY, I was disappointed to say the least. However, after watching it a second time, I found myself liking it a lot more. The problem was that I was expecting BLADE: TRINITY to be the best vampire movie of all time since David S. Goyer was both writing and directing it. Unfortunately, it didn't end up being the best vampire movie of all time. That's not saying that it's a bad movie. It's a fun, entertaining, and stylish picture that's a vast improvement over BLADE II, but the film suffers from action scenes that are over edited and a poor performance by Dominic Purcell as an underwritten Drake (Dracula). Still, I'd recommend it to fans of comic book movies as long as they don't expect too much.

    Nothing special but...

It's a classic Blade movie and a movie which is time killer when you have nothing to do but watch something. Not confusing, not boring, with a little sense of humor, just watch and enjoy, don't look for something that makes sense. By the way, Jessica Biel was something else in the movie.

    Blood Brothers & Sisters Unite...

Beneath the streets, behind facades, above the law; conglomerations old and new, slash, shear and saw; unseen but all around, vigilant of every sound, taking lives, destroying chances, tooth and claw.

Raised from his resting tomb, reawakened from stone womb, the father of it all, rises up to meet their call; a psychopathic slayer, you will need much more than prayer, if he gets you in his grip, more than a few drops will let drip.

A not quite as marvellous finale to the trilogy as could have been, and not quite as scarlet drenched as the previous two, still with one of the more accomplished, and even to this day spectacular incarnations of a vampire slayer there's been.

Hannibal King: No, it's not, you horse-humping bitch! But it will be a few seconds from now. See, that tickle that you're feeling in the back of your throat right now?

[Asher, Jarko, and Danica start coughing]

Hannibal King: That's atomized colloidal silver. It's being pumped through the building's air conditioning system, you cock-juggling thundercunt!

      [Jarko and Asher cough harder]

Hannibal King: Which means the fat lady should be singing, right... about... now!

      [pause where nothing happens]

Hannibal King: Heh, this is awkward.

    • Crazy credits
There's a quick scene at the end of the credits of Blade speeding off to the next battle.
    • Alternate versions
The Unrated Edition reinserts 2 major scenes amounting to 10 minutes. The first one is an exchange between Drake and Danica where both shared their past including Drake being 'there' during the crucifixion. He then seduces her. The other one is right after the final fight between Drake and Blade. The doctors were about to perform an autopsy on Blade when he just simply gets up as if 'resurrected' and leaves the morgue. However, the fate of the doctors is not revealed.
