An Introduction To The Range And Excitement Of American Ballet

The three ballet performances presented on this DVD were choreographed (back in 1984) by famed American dance instructor, George Balanchine.

Featuring classical music by such composers as Chopin and Prokofiev - These energetic dance numbers took place at the grand Metropolitan Opera House (in NYC) before a live audience.

These energetic dance performances (where the women outnumbered the men) clearly demonstrated the complex art of ballet that involved the complete devotion of its agile dancers.

This DVD has a running time of approximately 100 minutes.
