Two teens become step brothers. One is an awkward geek and the other is a popular musician.
The scene where Drake and Josh are working at a sushi conveyor belt was inspired by the famous American show, I Love Lucy (1951). It was based on the episode where Lucy and Ethel are working at a chocolate conveyor belt. Also there is a brief clip of it on the Victorious episode "Who Did It To Trina"
Do I get to wear that purdy apron?
In the episode where Josh gets mad at Drake for making him miss his chemistry exam, Drake comes into the house with a green sit and bounce to make Josh feel better, almost through the entire scene you can clearly see the reflection of all the stage lights in the shiny green sit and bounce.
Deleted scenes are often shown during the end credits, with three exceptions. "The Gary Grill" had Drake and Josh, out of character, preforming a rendition of the show's theme song, "Blues Brothers" had the Hewitt character and his band harmonizing the show's theme song, and "Dr. Phyllis" had best of clips of Drake and Josh horsing around.
