Black Cloud, is an inspirational story about a young Navajo, Native American boxer, who overcomes personal challenges as he comes to terms with his heritage, while fighting his way for a spot on the US Olympic boxing team.
This is an incredible take on a truly influential story. This film is such an uplifting masterpiece, not just to the entire Native American community, but to anyone who has ever felt trapped by their own demons. Rick Schroder takes the audience on a truly emotionally- gritty roller coaster to find the hero in us all. Aside from this, we also see a director with a true love for the Native American people- never being stereotypical with his vision he always finds such a moving truth. Anyone who sees this [what will be a classic], will leave finding a true hero and warrior in themselves. About Rick Schroder as a director... "you ain't seen nothing' yet"! He is here and he is not going anywhere.
