| Rajini Sir and Jeetendra's action packed dhamaka.
Tamacha review :

Jeetendra and Rajinikant teamed up again after their successful Dosti Dushmani (1986) for yet another revenge actioner but Tamacha couldnt repeat the success of their earlier collaboration.

Rajini Sir excelled in his villainous role and his flipping of goggles is still popular. The sexy Bhanupriya was cast opposite Jeetu and they sizzled together in a rain song. Amrita Singh looked pretty as Rajini's employee turned wifey. Sumeet Saigal and Kimi Katkar hardly got any scope.

The confrontation scenes between Rajini Sir and Jeetu were the films highlight and I liked the sequence where Rajini escapes from Jeetu's clutches after blasting a municipal truck.

All in all, Tamacha had enough to satisfy the 80s audience but unfortunately, couldnt create any great impact at the box office. Still wonder why!!

Regards, Sumeet Nadkarni.
