  • I saw this film back in 2003 and thought it was great. The talent was fantastic. The film seemed to lack a resolute soundtrack to match the story and sometimes knocked me off track a little. The children who acted in this movie were very good and I have heard little from them since. If anyone has any info. on how I can buy a copy let me know. There was this mean little girl girl who just cracked me up. Her name was Isabella Steel. I was on the set twice and both times she impressed me with how she hit her mark and new her lines. She was very sweet and old fashioned in her politeness. She and the Blackwood girl did a good job of acting together but Steel was a scene stealer.
  • Can anyone tell me what happened to this film? It had Olympia Dukakis, Lynn Redgrave, and Opra Winfrey's dad. It had a big preview in Nashville where there was a big fuss over the seating arrangements. Then it seems that the movie was never released. What happened? I had a favorite uncle who died quite suddenly on a fishing trip. He any my aunt had just bought a small farm with a very old farm house and he and she were trying to get it fixed up when he died. The movie company used the house for the film. The went to a lot of trouble and expense fixing up the house (which was a true blessing for my aunt and her two children) I would like to see the move so that I could see what they did to the house.
