In order to achieve their dream of opening a recording studio, two friends (Omarion, Houston) must first win their city's dance contest -- a fierce competition that pits them against a group of tough street dancers.
Omarion (David), Jarell Houston (Rico), Lil' Fizz (Rashann), and Raz B (Vic) were members of the now-split-up hip hop group B2K, and Marques Houston (Elgin) was a member of Immature and is now solo. Jarell is Marques' cousin. Chris Stokes, who happens to be the writer for this movie, is a producer for both B2K and Marques Houston.
