In the American episodes of MegaMan: NT Warrior, there were some name changes that the NetNavis' original names had in the MegaMan: Battle Network games: They changed FireMan to TorchMan because of the firemen lost in 9/11. They changed BombMan to BlasterMan to hide the mentionings of bombs with bomb threats. They changed NapalmMan to MoltanicMan to hide references of napalms. BeastMan was renamed to SavageMan because "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" (both versions) and the "F-Zero" videogame series have their Beast Man.
The name Lan for the American version is derived from the computer term LAN meaning Local Area Network.
The cell phone PET design shown in the series was used as a promotion tool for the Rockman EXE 4 game.
Many of the battle chip designs used were straight from Rockman EXE 3 and Rockman EXE 4.
All of the villain navis featured in the series were from Rockman EXE 3 and Rockman EXE 4
