A new theme park, built on the original site of Jurassic Park, creates a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus Rex, which escapes containment and goes on a killing spree.
The novelization reveals Owen has been training the raptors for two years.
Boys, let's do this!
The airport the boys arrive at is not the Juan Santamaria Airport in Costa Rica. Three specific items give this away. 1) The glideslope shack is on the wrong side of the runway, 2) The taxiway names at Juan Santamaria are spelled out, instead of just using a single letter, and 3) The taxiway indicated by the sign would not be E (Echo) or F (Foxtrot) as shown, as that taxiway would be off-screen to the right, still ahead of the landing aircraft.
Rather than fade to black, the Legendary logo fades to white into the movie
TV spots featured a scene with Claire covering herself in dinosaur dung, this scene was removed for the theatrical release.
