Many memorable songs - Nambide Ninna (sung in three different styles by Bhimsen Joshi, Balamurali Krishna and Janaki) and Kannadathi Thaaye Baa.
This was a very off beat movie - narrating the life of a person who is dedicated to singing. He pursues his passion in spite of many hardships, mostly from his immediate family members. Rajkumar has given a splendid performance.
I watched this movie when I was a kid, and I remember it made a mark on me, cos even today I remember Rajkumar's face when he is sitting on the stage to sing a song, and u can see full of humility in that face.
