| One of the best wrestling games of all time
With all the swings and misses with later WWE games, there's always that one game that many wrestling game fans like myself have been hoping to get some of back in recent games, and that is this masterpiece. Great visuals for the time, addictive as all hell gameplay, awesome OST, amazing season mode, amazing creation suite for its time, and the amazing roster. Yukes and THQ have outdone themselves and the fact that Yukes hasn't quite reached this amount of funness in newer games really makes me sad, because I know they can do it. WWE 2K17 brought back some of the in crowd fighting features, but to say that this game has more freedom than even 2K18 is somewhat baffling. This definitely has one of, if not the best season mode in any wrestling game, as it extremely immersive and well written. The fact that you can unlock stuff via virtual currency in this game is a great idea and well implemented, unlike some other games. Looking at you, WWE 2K18. The creation suite is better than any game before it, as you have so much more to work with for created superstars, stables, and moves. The gameplay is fast and has a fantastic flow which all makes everything work beautifully in conjunction for an addictive time all the time. Overall, this game is one of those rare times I can say is perfect for what it is, and I 150% recommend anyone who's a wrestling fan to give this a go, as it has all the stuff about WWE while also keeping it fun and addictive. I really hope that one day Yukes can at least match the amount of epicness that this game offers again, because this is definitely one of the best wrestling games of all time.
