  • A romantic picture by Arthur Mackley's company that will furnish entertainment. It has an acceptable heroine (she ought to watch her facial expression a bit more closely; she can improve a bit in that); it has some perfect moonlight scenes; the old, artificial, but acceptable, situations, and a touch of real romance. The photography, in the day scenes, could have been clearer. - The Moving Picture World, May 24, 1913
