| It's not a bad movie but I expected more from it
Lucky McKee's first movie is May,one of the greatest horror films from last years. After so impressive work on his first movie,I expected a lot McKee's second movie, called The woods. The waiting finished and yesterday,I saw the movie. The result? It's not a bad movie and it kept me fun.But I expected more.First,I'll say the good things this movie has:the atmosphere is great, the movie kept me fun,the cast is very well,McKee made a perfect work as a director and he takes his time to tell the story and to introduce the characters. Now,the bad things:some scenes have not got importance and the could have been edited and sometimes, during the movie's complication, the script is weak. The woods is a good movie which kept me fun;but the movie is not great thing and I expected more from it.But it's way better than commercial craps made in Hollywood(for example,Saw 3 or Pulse).
