A comedy panel game in which being Quite Interesting is more important than being right. Sandi Toksvig is joined each week by four comedians to share anecdotes and trivia, and maybe answer some questions as well.
Stephen Fry revealed that there is one panelist who insists on seeing the questions in advance so that he or she can prepare their answers. Fry refused to name the person but did confirm that it was neither Alan Davies nor Rob Brydon.
If I've got a moth ball in this hand and a moth ball in that hand,
Stephen Fry: What have I got?
Alan Davies: Two moth balls?
Stephen Fry: A rather excited moth.
Alan Davies: Sorry, I thought you were literally asking.
The word "Unfriended" was in use much earlier than suggested on QI, and can be found in Shakespeare's King Lear.
The researchers who provide the questions and information for Stephen Fry are credited as "QI Elves" which is how they are referred to on the show. Occasionally they are also given other interesting titles like "Curator of Jack and Jill" These can be seen in the "Cast And Crew".
