    Quite...odd.
I was lost in translation by this show. Just like Bill Murray was in 2003.

    Just like everyone watching was.

    It's very strange...

Matthew's Best Hit TV is your typical oddball Japanese show, known for the over-the-top styles and interviews. "Matthew" is a weird little guy - at least from what I can tell in Lost in Translation.

If you're out somewhere and you happen to find a copy of Lost in Translation, pop it in the ol' DVD player, and when you get to the Matthew's Best Hit TV show segment, just remember that it's really real!! I was surprised because I had thought it was just a promo joke, but then I looked it up on IMDb and it confirms it as a real Japanese television show that began back in 2001! Who would have thunk-it?
