Goraa is one of those films that fared badly because it was long in the making. Sualakshana Pandit teams up with Kaka in this film & their pairing is quite good. They could have done more films together.

The villains are good but not menacing.

Rajesh Khanna is usually not cut out for action but here he is convincing as a Dacoit. He is however let down by a weak script & poor direction.

But though it is a Dacoit movie, there is no violence & some of the scenes are straight from the heart.

It is a decent one time watch.
  • This movie shows in its credits that Super Star Rajesh Khanna is in a special appearance. But the fact remains that he is actually playing the lead role in the movie in the garb of a special appearance. The movie it appears took years in making and was released only in 1987. It is a movie based on robbers and is a revenge drama. The movie has story line which used to be narrated in the 1970s and the plot has nothing new to offer apart from police and robbers chasing each other. The music is a very big let down and there is not a single song worth noting. The direction is patchy and editing is very poor. One may see the movie for the sake of Rajesh Khanna the Super Star only as it has nothing else to offer.
