This theme seems a bit too old
There is one very good scene in this picture; it is that in which the detective recognizes the "paroled" man who. for the time, is not aware that he has been spotted. The man is living "on the square" and when the detective sees how things are going he decides to let him remain unknown and not take him back to prison. This theme seems a bit too old to make the best kind of offering. The picture is fair in acting and photography. - The Moving Picture World, October 4, 1913
