This was the first Penthouse video I saw. It has a sentimental value along with being a good title in its own right. It's not the hottest piece of softcore. Definitely not the most explicit, but I rank it pretty highly. It started my appreciation for the beautiful Julie K Smith as well.
The intro features Levena Holmes & JKS in and out of swimsuits. There's some fun underwater shots and Julie is already getting a lot of focus. I really like this instead of the standard montage (1.5 mins). This transitions to a fantastic leadoff scene "Poolside Beauties" where Levena, Julie, Seana Ryan & Cathleen Raymond peel out of their clothes poolside. Each get their individual moment and rather than describe every second of it, I think you should see it for yourself (12 mins).
"Seeing Double" is the tanned, busty Morrell sisters (Carla & Carmen) stripping out of their bikinis. Unfortunately it doesn't last long and it's tame only focusing on their boobs. However I admit they are really big and really nice (3 mins). "Leopard Girl" is sultry blonde Nikki Tyler. As the title suggests, she strips from a leopard print bikini. There's some really nice shots here (3.5 mins).
"Basic Training" is a military themed segment featuring a bunch of ladies (Julia Ann, Gina Lamarca, Dominique St Croix, Levena Holmes, Nicole Boderson, Shannon Steele). They strip outta their green overalls down to swimsuits underneath and then out of those too. It was my first time seeing Gina's unique pubic hair and the busty duo of Julia & Dominique. Nicole & Shannon get the least amount of focus here (9 mins).
"Groovy" is a 60's throwback filmed in front of a green screen displaying psychedelic imagery. It alternates between two pairs of women dressed like hippies (Nikki Tyler & Natalie Smith / Samantha Phillips & Bonita Saint). I really enjoyed this segment. The energy, the attitude, the female sights. They all get equal attention, but Bonita really stood out. She has a tattoo above her kitty that says "make love not war" (8 mins).
"Life Is a Beach" takes us to the sand with a musical track of the same name that is equal parts corny & fun. Initially busty Pets (Dominique, Julia, Morrell sisters) pose and get felt up by muscle men. Then JKS and Natalie Lennox come together for some nice tanned blonde on blonde action (6.5 mins). "On the Rocks" cuts between JKS peeling out of a pink dress and the duo of Gina & Dominique ripping out of clothes and posing (4.5 mins).
"Sand Castles" has Julia Ann solo looking hot to trot in a bikini. The camera spends a lot of time focusing on her butt and kitty. Some risque shots for 1994. Oddly Julia's big breasts don't come out until near the end (4 mins). "Hands On" has Julie K Smith in a lounge chair getting out of a bikini and getting rubbed down by a bunch of male hands. It's short, but hot supplying some close-ups as the video winds down (2 mins). "Look What Washed Up On the Beach" is the finale featuring Julie, Natalie Lennox, Dominique and Julia on the beach posing and getting hit by some waves (3 mins).
I read years ago that '25th Anniversary Swimsuit' was Penthouse's best selling video. I can definitely see why. Highly recommend to those who appreciate softcore beauties or fans of Julie K Smith. This is a great title.
