TV Series | TV-14 | | Crime, Drama, Mystery
The series showed the workings of the judicial system, beginning with the arraignment, and continuing through the lawyers process of building a case, investigating leads, and preparing witnesses and defendants for trial.
Had Jerry Orbach lived through the first season of the series, it would've been possible for the series to continue for a second season with changes with included possible replacement of Amy Carlson with Jessica Chastain possibly replacing her amongst the changes plus more possible crossover episodes with "Law & Order", "Special Victims Unit" and "Criminal Intent", which did not get a crossover episode at all.
