In the miniseries pilot, Colonel Tigh says no one has attempted a jump in 20 or 22 years, yet, a few minutes later, just as they execute the jump, Cally observes that she "hates this part". This is actually not a mistake however as Cally is referring to having experienced jumps many times through training simulations.
The second half of the opening credits for the first season is a montage of quick teaser clips from the current week's episode. Ron D. Moore said he took the idea from "Space: 1999". This was removed at the beginning of the second season, but later reinstated.
