[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Cleaning Lady Season 4 Episode 9, “Hearts on Fire.”] The Cleaning Lady just referenced one of the most iconic episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. Season 4 Episode 9, “Hearts on Fire,” saw an immigrant woman kidnapped and put under anesthesia by Cowboy Hat (Brian Norris) and his cronies, who then dropped her unconscious body at the hospital where Thony (Élodie Yung) works. A gruesomely shoddy surgery was performed on the woman while she was under, as evidenced by a giant T-shaped incision running up and down her abdomen with thick and bloody stitches. The woman was suffering from a bad infection as a result, but Thony noticed something so much worse: There was a bomb implanted inside of her. Even if you don’t know Grey’s Anatomy, you’ve likely heard of its bomb episode. In Grey’s Anatomy Season 2 Episode 17, “As We Know It,” a man accidentally shoots himself in the stomach with...

Modern Family may have wrapped in April 2020, but the cast still lives rent-free in our heads. From Julie Bowen’s seemingly ageless glow to one actor who’s pulling off the “finest wine” transformation like a pro, the glow-ups (and glow-steady cases) are real.
Over the years, this lovable sitcom family’s had their own aging arc. Whether it’s the Dunphy kids stepping into their adult era or the Pritchetts embracing silver fox status, this then-and-now rewind proves that time has only turned up the style and swagger, and not dulled their charm.

We were not prepared for the fight that went down between Carly and Nina during the Monday, May 19 episode of General Hospital. A slap, maybe, but not a full-on smackdown. While nobody condones violence, this throwdown was years in the making. The animosity between these two formidable characters was only going to end up in a tussle of epic proportions despite the shaky alliance they forged to extract Drew out of Willow and their grandkids’ lives. Shortly after this catfight for the ages, Gh’s social media people released a couple of photos. They spotlighted two women who helped bring this clash of the titans to life.
Behind the Scenes Look

The history of the "Highlander" reboot seems to have lasted as long as the warriors that inhabit this cult classic franchise. Directors, stars, and screenwriters have come and gone for well over a decade, all in the hope of obtaining the prize that is reigniting the spark of the original film. Released in 1986 and starring Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, Clancy Brown, and perhaps one of the best movie soundtracks to ever blast through a cinema screen, "Highlander" follows a titular Scotsman who discovers that he belongs to a small group of immortals who are drawn to combat one another in sword fights to the death. The only way to defeat his opponents is by lopping off their heads, which proves to be difficult when one long time adversary known as The Kurgan (Clancy Brown) is dedicated to taking his.

Yes, I’m stepping back into another realm of One Chicago to complain about Chicago Med’s obsession with a pairing.
As we head into the season finale of what is inarguably the best season of the series in quite some time, I maintain that Mitch Ripley has been Chicago Med Season 10‘s biggest drawback and weakest link.
And now, the frustration with the character continues with Hannah Asher’s latest plot development.
(George Burns Jr/NBC)
The end of Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 21 didn’t exactly leave a girl enthusiastic. Pregnancy plots aren’t always the most entertaining, but One Chicago notoriously has a pregnancy problem that makes it hard to invest in these arcs in any capacity.

Streaming’s share of total TV viewing set a new record in April, the third consecutive month it has hit a high, but shows like Grey’s Anatomy and The White Lotus show the boost that linear TV can provide.
That’s one key takeaway from Nielsen’s April edition of its monthly Gauge report of TV viewing.
Streaming overall increased 15% from April 2024 levels and half a percentage point from March, accounting for 44.3% of tune-in, up half a percentage point from March. Broadcast and cable fell 7% and 16%, respectively, over that same year-to-year span, though each managed to inch up from March to April.
The ongoing audience shift worked to the benefit of marquee shows that both stream and air on linear TV, as is the case with Grey’s Anatomy and The White Lotus.

Streaming continued its upward trajectory in April, but linear TV platforms also saw an increase in their share of viewing time.
Nielsen’s monthly Gauge report shows streaming taking up 44.3 percent of all TV use in the United States, up from 43.8 percent in March. The April period (which ran from March 31-April 27 in Nielsen’s books) is the third straight month in which streaming platforms set a new high in share of TV use.
Streamers did not steal viewing time from cable or broadcast outlets, however, as both improved a little on their March numbers. Cable accounted for 24.5 percent of all TV use in April (vs. 24 percent in March), and broadcast networks had 20.8 percent (up from 20.5 percent a month earlier). Other TV usage (including gaming and physical media viewing) fell from 11.7 percent in March to 10.3 percent in April.

In part due to the industry strikes of 2023. ABC had three times as many reality shows as scripted shows last season. Of the nine scripted series on the Alphabet Network, only seven are returning for ABC's 2024-25 season. Will we see more comedies and dramas this season? Stay tuned!
ABC shows (so far): The 100,000 Pyramid, 20/20, 9-1-1, Abbott Elementary, American Idol, America's Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, Celebrity Jeopardy!, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, The Conners, Dancing with the Stars, Doctor Odyssey, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Golden Bachelorette, The Great Christmas Light Fight, Grey's Anatomy, High Potential, Jeopardy! Masters, Press Your Luck, The Rookie, Scamanda, Shark Tank, Shifting Gears, What Would You Do? and Will Trent.
There's lots of data that network execs look at when deciding whether to renew or cancel a TV series but ratings are a major ingredient.

We’ve come a long way from the cattle prod.
The most recent Handmaid’s Tale episode found Aunt Lydia, the violent and staunch Gilead apologist played by Ann Dowd, sobbing on the floor as she beseeched God for help. What sent one of the series’ scariest characters to her knees, you might wonder? A conversation with June that forced the older woman to come to terms with the reality of her role as a fixer for religious rape. (Read a full episode recap here.)

Veteran actor Peter Krause has had quite an illustrious television career.
Not many actors can say that they’ve been on different hit television shows for three straight decades, but Mr. Krause can.
These shows weren’t just hits, but career-defining in many ways.

Krause’s career has seen him lead one of the most revered shows of all time and co-lead one of the most successful procedurals of the last few years, and he’s shown no signs of slowing down.
While we may not know what’s next for the actor, we know where he’s been.

Unlike its real-life subjects in the news, Good American Family has not exactly made a big splash in Gold Derby's Emmy charts. Following a mixed-to-negative critical and audience reception and muted online buzz throughout its eight-episode run, the Hulu limited series isn't expected to land any major nominations, according to the odds, which currently account for the series and top acting races. But people may be writing off the show too quickly. It's a top priority for Hulu in limited this year, and if the past few years have taught us anything, it's never to underestimate the streamer in this field.

In Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 finale, flashes of the bold and courageous Meredith are seen as she puts herself in harm’s way for the greater good.
Spoiler alert: The piece contains spoilers for Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 finale.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 ended in explosive fashion on Thursday night.
We mean this literally.
The final moments of the May 15 episode featured Meredith walking out of the hospital… only to see an explosion take place several stories above her in the operating room.
The concluding shot was of Meredith … as she turned around and stared in shock at the blast, while Warren sprinted back to help.
Harry Shum Jr, Kim Raver, Jason George and Anthony Hill in Grey’s Anatomy season 21. (Disney/Anne Marie Fox)
What does this mean looking ahead? For a show that has never (Ever!) been shy about killing off a character… or four.
We know Ellen Pompeo will return in some capacity for Season 22 as Meredith.
We know the same about Warren, partly because we saw them outside of the building when the explosion occurred — but also because showrunner Meg Marinis confirmed as much...

The Bachelor has fallen from its pedestal on ABC.
Tuning in to watch 25 women attempt to win the heart of a bachelor is no longer.
It has become a circus filled with wannabe or established influencers looking to boost their social media following.
(ABC/Screenshot)
Several of the last The Bachelor leads have flopped, and the breakup-to-marriage ratio has dwindled significantly.
However, ABC could turn things around with some adjustments if they are serious about keeping the show on air.

Well, that finale was explosive!
Sue me, I had to get that one out there, but they pulled a bit of a bait-and-switch on us during Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 Episode 18, so by the time the finale concluded, it was a shock that lives were hanging in the balance.
And now, we don’t know who we should be worried about until the series returns.

We have a scene-by-scene recap of the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy.
If you’d like a full-on Grey’s Anatomy Review, you can check that out as well.
But for now, let’s break down the finale.
(Disney/Anne Marie Fox)
Jo and Link are annoyingly happy getting back to work after their honeymoon.
Jules accidentally walks in and pulls off her shirt in a room after spilling something on it. She doesn’t realize she’s in the same room as Winston, and it’s awkward between them.
Things are still tense between Simone and Lucas, who are avoiding each other.
(Disney/Anne Marie Fox)
Lucas updates everyone on what’s going on with Dylan, and her mother is angry that nothing has changed about her condition. She’s not handling any of this well, and Amelia is trying to keep her composure. The mother pleads with Amelia, but she doesn’t respond.

Spoiler Alert: The story includes details about the Season 21 finale of Grey’s Anatomy, “How Do I Live.”
In a signature fashion, the Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 finale put the doctors at Grey Sloan through the wringer.
First, Jenna (Piper Perabo), the distraught mother of 9-year-old Dylan, resorted to extreme measures to try to save her daughter who continued to deteriorate following her brain surgery. Not willing to sit and wait as Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) advised her, Jenna took things into her own hands.
Using a tank with explosive gas from her husband’s work supply as a weapon, she forced Amelia to operate on her daughter to try and fix what didn’t work the first time. Amelia had to go lo-tech, relying on a magnifying glass and her instincts — with Lucas’ (Niko Terho) help — to perform the highly risky surgery. She was eventually joined by Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) for a...

Note: This story contains spoilers from “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 21, Episode 18.
“Grey’s Anatomy” ended Season 21 with a heart-stopping finale cliffhanger, leaving the fates of a good chunk of the Grey Sloan doctors hanging in the balance.
Episode 18, titled “How Do I Live,” followed the aftermath of Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Link’s (Chris Carmack) wedding. Tensions rose significantly after Jenna (Piper Perabo), the mother of a young patient of Amelia’s (Caterina Scorsone), sequestered her, Simone (Alexis Floyd) and Lucas (Niko Terho) in an Or and forced her to operate on her daughter while threatening to blow it up with a gas tank.
The hostage situation caught the attention of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) — who was in the premises with the intention of selling off her shares of the hospital to fund her burgeoning Alzheimer’s research. In typical Meredith fashion, she ended up in the Or herself and helped diffuse the...

[This story contains major spoilers from the season 21 finale of Grey’s Anatomy, “How Do I Live.”]
Grey’s Anatomy warned viewers that an explosive finale was coming.
Heading into the season 21 ender, “How Do I Live,” that aired on Thursday night, the ABC medical drama’s official social media account posted two throwback photos of the memorable two-part finale back in season two (“It’s the End of the World” and “As We Know It”). That tense bomb-in-a-body-cavity episode saw Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) with guest stars Christina Ricci and Kyle Chandler trying to keep a bomb lodged in a patients’ chest from exploding.
“Same vibe,” wrote the ABC account.
This time, instead of a bomb, the mother (guest star Piper Perabo) of a child patient who had gone unresponsive after brain surgery brings a highly flammable acetylene tank into the operating room and forces Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) to perform a high-risk surgery to save her daughter. [Warning: The following post contains Major spoilers for Grey’s Anatomy Season 21’s Finale, “How Do I Live”] It’s going to be a very long summer for Grey’s Anatomy fans as we wait for Season 22 to arrive this fall and resolve that massive cliffhanger the Season 21 finale just left us with. The episode closed with a major gas explosion caused by the tank that Jenna Gatlin (Piper Perabo) used to force Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) to perform another surgery on Dylan. After the surgery worked, Jenna revealed the tank was always empty, but it turned out that wasn’t true — and she’d been leaking acetylene onto the floor the entire time. The explosion could potentially cost the lives of several surgeons who were still on the surgical floor. So who might be on the casualty list? Here’s a breakdown of where the finale left off and who could be in danger. Which Grey Sloan surgeons...

That’s how to structure a season finale!
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 1 Finale may have been a comedy, but it offered one of the most dramatic hours of television, complete with cliffhangers that make the summer feel way too long.
Jim selling the store — whether to Georgie or to Fred Fagenbacher — is a big deal, and no matter what happens next, the McAllisters will have to deal with huge changes when Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2 begins.
(Troy Harvey/Warner Bros Entertainment Inc) Georgie and Mandy’s Conflict Was The Least Important Thing The Couple Dealt With
Mandy spent the first half of the double-header agonizing over how to tell Georgie that her boss was also her ex-boyfriend, while Georgie spent the second half angry that she hadn’t told him this months ago.
It was unfortunate that the couple chose to spend their energy on this nonsense.

The ’70s are back, baby — and this time, they’ve brought Josh Holloway, a blood-soaked baseball bat, and a whole lot of dust-kicking chaos with them.
In Duster’s electric series premiere, Max throws us into the sweltering heat of Arizona’s criminal underworld.
This is not your typical crime drama. It’s loud, stylish, a little absurd, and utterly soaked in grindhouse charm. Think Smokey and the Bandit if Burt Reynolds were morally conflicted and on the verge of being recruited by the FBI.

If there is one thing you can count on with a 9-1-1 season finale, it will end on a hopeful note.
The series has never been in the business of leaving its fans with massive cliffhangers that will have them stressing throughout the summer, and they haven’t started now with 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 18.
It’s a classic 9-1-1 hour in what it aims to achieve, but it’s also incredibly predictable, which is not necessarily a good thing.
(Disney/Christopher Willard)
There is nothing inherently wrong with this hour, though one could argue they spend too much on the emergency, considering the scope of what’s currently happening on the series.
But again, that’s a 9-1-1 finale.

The Price Is Right at Night officially wraps up its latest season on CBS with some impressive upgrades in terms of prizes for the contestants.
As a fan of the long-running game show, I’ve always enjoyed watching contestants try to outwit pricing games or use skills to defeat particular challenges to win.
The game show still includes popular games from when Bob Barker hosted, as Drew Carey presents the exciting games Hot Seat and Hole in One on the Season 6 primetime finale.
(CBS/Screenshot)
The latter features an additional twist, which makes sense since a contestant can win more prizes than usual, so there’s absolutely no reason it shouldn’t be more difficult.

Tonight, Season 21 of Grey's Anatomy will air its final episode, and it looks like it will be a banger. In order to tease the season finale, ABC released a slate of images that hint at the events that will shake up Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital once again. Titled "How Do I Live," the episode promises a high-stakes ending to the current season, and knowing how merciless the series can be, it wouldn't be a surprise if not everyone made it to the end.
The episode will have at least two turning points. The new interns will be excited to start their transition into the second-year residency, something that we've seen a couple of times in Grey's Anatomy, but it never gets old. After all, the mistakes and recklessness of interns have generated some of the best arcs in the show's entire history. Additionally, the series is bringing back the kind...

It wouldn’t be a Grey’s Anatomy finale without our favorite on-screen surgeons being in some serious danger, and this time, it looks like the threat is going to come from a very, very surprising place. In TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek at the Season 21 closer, “How Do I Live,” Lucas Adams (Niko Terho) wheels 9-year-old neurosurgery patient Dylan (Sophia Kopera) into the operating room for a corrective surgery — presumably, to repair what went wrong from her angioma removal and caused her to experience locked-in syndrome. Only, Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) isn’t happy to see him or the child because something else entirely is going on. Standing behind her are scrub nurse BokHee (Kathy C. An) and anesthesiologist Dr. Knox (Payton Silver), and standing in front of her is Jenna Gaitlin (Piper Perabo), Dylan’s mother who’s holding Simone Griffiths (Alexis Floyd) hostage with a huge canister...

The Big Bang Theory spin-off, Young Sheldon, has brought several talented actors into the spotlight, from lead star Iain Armitage to Zoe Perry, who portrayed Mary Cooper, Sheldon’s mother, throughout the CBS series. Perry has since reprised the role in the new spin-off, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
However, while she has become well-known for her role as Mary Cooper, her journey in acting began long before Young Sheldon. One key milestone in her early career was a brief role in the long-running CBS procedural NCIS.
Zoe Perry played a dirty cop in NCIS Season 13
