A Stuntman for All Seasons: A Tribute to Bennie Dobbins (2004)

*** (out of 4)

Stuntman Bennie Dobbins died on the set of RED HEAT and this featurette is a tribute to him. We get interviews with director Walter Hill as well as several other stunt people who worked with Dobbins. For the most part this is an entertaining tribute that does a nice job at talking about Dobbins and what made his stunts so special. There are some good stories told about his work ethic as well as what he would bring to a picture that others wouldn't. They talk about his safety as well as his working relationship with the actors he worked with. Overall this was a nice little tribute that fans of the film and of Dobbins should enjoy.
