| One of the greatest movies ever!!!!
OK, I love this movie!!!!!!!!!! yes OK, it doesn't really have that much of a plot. Something is wrong with the research base on Mars, so a team lead by The Rock is sent in to investigate to find out that there are a bunch of crazy killing monsters. But it was a lot of fun. The acting was good, the special effects were excellent, and the action was awesome!!! There is only one problem I had with this movie. It is based on the popular game series "Doom", but they changed the plot a little. Instead of having demons from Hell on the planet, like in the game, it was a biological experiment gone wrong. I think they should have gone with the original plot, but that wasn't enough to knock it down a vote. It was still amazing and the plot did work. If you want to see The Rock killing a tons of monsters with lots of gore and just have fun, definitely see this movie!!!!!

Did You Know?

When Sarge uses the severed hand to open the advanced weapons armory, the computer voice (and subtitles) say, "Welcome, Dr. Patricia Tallman." The character is named in the credits as Dr. Hillary Tallman. Much like the inclusion of John Carmack's name, this is a subtle insider reference, but one that is arguably more likely to be noticed than the name of id Software's infamous co-founder John Carmack.

Samantha Grimm: In the year 2026 archaeologists working in the Nevada desert discovered a portal to an ancient city on Mars. They call this portal the Ark. Twenty years later, we're still struggling to understand why it was built and what happened to the ...

When Sarge punches through the glass sign during the finale, pre-cut lines (making it easier to punch through the glass) are visible on its surface.

Crazy Credits

SPOILER: When the end credits for the actors are shown, the survivors' names exit through doors. All other names (those who die) are blown up by the shooter in the FPS perspective.
