Edited entirely in its original High Definition format (HDCam 23.98 PsF) linearly machine to machine - utilizing two Sony HDCAM CineAlta HDW-F500 HD Digital Videocassette Recorders.
Actor Max Casella was originally cast in the role of Claude Villain but couldn't due to scheduling conflicts with The Sopranos (1999)
Being an early adopter of the relatively new High Definition video format, Director / Executive Producer, David Lee Hefner insisted on shooting the production in Full HD, thus becoming one of the very first early productions to be shot in high-definition. The beginnings of this new HD digital era posed several considerable challenges. Not only was it expensive, but at this time, HD cameras were not commonly used in commercial use and they were in extremely limited supply. The production eventually ended up utilizing the same camera model used on George Lucas's Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) (one of the first full length feature films to be shot in Full HD). Next was the task of hiring a skilled crew that could operate this equipment, and lastly, the Post Production workflow.
