Obviously not among Skye Blue's best movies, "The Resort" begins as a momentary takeoff on "Fantasy Island", with porn's resident dwarf actor Napoleon exclaiming "The people, the people!" to Steven St. Croix in the Ricardo Montalban role as guests arrive at a Caribbean swingers' paradise.
That's where the porn parody content ends, as we have an oddball gimmick generating the action. It turns out that St. Croix is using his guests sexual antics with each other and his sexy staff as X-rated entertainment broadcast via CCTV to many other hotels without the guests knowledge. He is foiled when guest Shay Sweet, presumably working undercover (no pun intended) gets evidence of the ploy and destroys his tapes and equipment.
Though cast boasts such top talent as Nicole Sheridan (hubby Voodoo automatically in tow) and Dee, this amounts to a nothing picture. More entertaining is the bloopers reel on the DVD, which reveals that Napoleon and others continually blow their lines, leaving poor Skye to shoot at least two dozen takes of one scene.
