Stalwart Adam & Eve director Roy Karch delivered a very lazy feature here, merely five sex vignettes as erotic fantasies, tied together by heroine Shayla LaVeaux daydreaming on the job.
She's cast as a manuscript reader (equivalent to a Hollywood script reader) making recommendations to her grumpy boss Tony Tedeschi. She fantasizes a sex scene every time she starts reading a manuscript, and we get to see it enacted XXX style.
Her own sex scene is rather silly, as suddenly Randy Spears materializes in her office out of thin air dressed in a Navy officer costume, and humps Shayla, who's wearing a Little Bo Peep type outfit.
Sexy femmes in the cast make it watchable, notably busty Victoria Givens humping Tedeschi (only in Shayla's imagination), and styled as a blonde for a change, as well as beautiful Venus who looks strikingly like Samantha Ryan here, plus Cytherea doing her squirting thing.
In the BTS short subject Shayla identifies the show as titled "Lorelei", as meaningless as the release title. Very sloppy opening credits read, on three subsequent superimposed letterings: "Starring"..."Shayla Le Veaux as"... "True Hardwood Stories", when obviously "as" should have read "in".
