Pilot Season (TV Mini-Series 2004)

The new Larry Sanders; great as Reno 911. Super dry, brilliant satire of TV biz, simply, confidently directed. Marc Maron's piece about John Lynn Walker is so funny I had to stop the tivo and laugh. And the guy who plays the unctuous attorney sinks to the depths of Major Frank Burns and George Costanza. Ilsa Fisher smolders as the Aussie daughter of a Harrison Ford type. Top shelf cast also features David Cross. The guy who plays the actor and fiancée of the paraplegic producer is a genius. The Seinfeld characters are saints compared to this self centered lot. Terrific to see Seder + co. ace it. Keep yer fingers crossed for new episodes.
