This satire is based on the true events surrounding the production. Writer/director Marc Cushman was asked by producer Brah Bones to prepare a script for the comeback of porn queen Chasey Lain. It seemed like a surefire hit, and the press was invited to the shoot. Then the morning that filming began, Markman was told that negotiations with Lain had suddenly stalled and she would not be involved after all. So he rewrote the script as he filmed, turning this into a comedy within a comedy about how a star vehicle progresses when the star is no longer on board. On the second and final day of production, a deal was worked out at the 11th hour and Lain made it out to her own party after all. So Markman rewrote the script again, to include the star. All of this made it into the movie as part of the comedy-of-errors plot.
