One of Michael Raven's better videos, "Housewives" successfully bridges the gap between wall-to-wall sex and narrative erotica. This was made before all-sex gonzo killed off most story line porn, and points to a possible way out of the generic sex impasse of today's releases.

There are three separate vignettes but a total of 9 sex scenes here, as Raven explores sexual fantasies around the perfect mate. It's pantomime sex, with the sci-fi content established via effective voice-over narration.

Randy Spears stars in and narrates the lengthy opening segment, in which he gets the perfect housewife in the form of a cloned woman played by Passon, described as a cyborg/android. This scene is highly arousing thanks to Pason's performance and has a shock ending when his real wife Michelle Lay comes home that was well-done.

As a Wicked Pictures vehicle for Julia Ann, the superstar is elegantly showcased in a two-part middle scene, as she portrays a horny housewife, first having lesbian sex with Holly Hollywood and then bedding down with hubby Trevor Zen. La Julia is terrific, as usual.

Finale recalls the B-classic "Last Woman on Earth", a Robert Towne creation for Roger Corman, in that Audrey Hollander is a married woman who happens to be the only female left alive on the planet. After servicing her husband she calmly has a sequential gang-bang with other studs (including the show's cameraman Jake Jacobs) with plenty of anal sex thrown in for the fans.
