The Zeus Men in question are Eric Evans, Zeus Man of the Year 1998, and Bryce Pierce, Zeus Man of the Year 2000 - and the two of them together spontaneously combust - WOW!
Scene 1 starts with these two Monuments of Manhood worshipping each other. Bryce forces Eric's arms behind his back and an unseen master reaches over to begin abusing Eric. We catch very brief glimpses of this hidden master and I'm pretty sure it is Daddy Zeus himself. He proceeds to beat and flog Eric mercilessly. Eric can take it - even taunting his tormentor with exclamations like, "Yeah! I can take it, hit me harder!" When asked if he's ready for 20, Eric proudly proclaims, "Yeah! TWENTY-FIVE!" - and he proudly takes the 25 blows too. This really pumps him up as well. He's squirming but Eric never really tries to avoid the lash. He takes it stoically at first, but the relentless blows soon have him grunting, growling and eventually screaming. When his front is bright red, he kneels before Bryce who holds his arms outstretched so the leather flogger can reach his back. The only mercy? Periodically, Daddy sloshes some water onto the red hot skin to cool him down.
Scene 2 has Bryce stretched on his back on a platform with the still red Eric holding his arms. Daddy runs the whip gently across his trembling body before the camera zooms in on his MANY piercings. All these studs in his body MUST make him ultra-sensitive! He really suffers when the flogging starts in earnest and Eric can barely hold him. Several times, Daddy admonishes Bryce with, "Spread those legs! Spread em!" but Bryce can't help it - he intuitively tries to protect himself by rolling into the fetal position. He manages it once and Daddy yells at Eric to, "Hold him, Eric! Stretch him out!" Once his front is bright red, he kneels and Eric kneels with him. Several times, the flogging obviously becomes too much and Eric wraps his arms around him, effectively halting the punishment momentarily and giving Bryce the chance to catch his breath. Then he stretches Bryce's arms again and it starts again. When Daddy asks, "You ready for 20?" Bryce gamely answers, "Yes, sir." By this time, Eric is holding Bryce so closely, that at least once, the whip lashing across Bryce's back actually hits Eric in the face too! Eric just shakes it off. Bryce's screaming is so loud, you can't hear the count, but I counted the blows and he does take all 20, but he is sobbing in helpless despair by the end of it. Eric wraps his big arms around him and then takes his face into his hands and stares into Bryce's tear-filled eyes and kisses him so sweetly - it is absolutely the most tender moment ever caught on film - ANYWhere!
Scene 3 has Marco tied to a ladder. Marco is ... well ... kind of freaky. For one thing, he has no body hair - completely shaved - I don't even think he has eyebrows. But he is also ... well, curiously endowed. He endures a flogging and then we see some interesting uses for what looks kind of like little rubber tires for toy cars. When he climaxes, the scene is over.
Scene 4 opens with Eric Michaels tied to an X-Rack. The tormentor in this one and the scene before seems to be Chris Ward - the co-owner of Raging Stallion himself. Again, he is mostly hidden, but we do catch glimpses and I'm pretty sure it is Chris Ward. Michaels endures some light flogging followed by some breath play which he thanks his master for. He is blindfolded and out comes the meat clever. YOWSA! When the blunt edge is suddenly raked down hard over his abs, Michaels yelps and nearly jumps out of his skin! Next is a stiletto knife. Michaels hears the knife open and whimpers, "Please gag me, sir - I might get loud." "Just be loud," Ward tells him and proceeds to torment him with that knife until Michaels begs, "I'll be a good boy, sir, please don't cut me." Finally, the knife is put away and the blindfold is removed, but that's only so Michaels can get a good look at the next implement of torture - and I don't even know what this thing is! One reviewer called it an industrial bolt cutter and that's as good a guess as any - it is VICIOUS looking! Well, it should be obvious what Ward threatens with THAT and Michaels begs not to lose em until, seemingly resigned to some dreadful fate, he pleads instead to be allowed one last climax first. This he achieves - WITH that vicious thing crushing him!
Scene 5 brings us back to Eric and Bryce and starts with Bryce tying Eric's hands behind his back, but they don't stay tied for long. These two sizzling studs really seem to be into each other and it truly comes across as genuine. The DVD includes an interview with Eric and Bryce and their affection for each other is obvious here as well. It's too bad they never made another film together.
There are certainly films that are more hardcore than this, but I don't think I want to see them. Realistic depictions of torture aren't really my cuppa. Instead, this is consenting adults enjoying a little S&M play – the mild discomfort heightening their sensual awareness. There is absolutely no permanent damage here – by the time we see Eric and Bryce in scene 5, the redness has already subsided. But the intimacy they share after their mutual ordeal just brings them closer together.
One last note: don't watch this with the sound muted. Use headphones if you have to, but it just won't be the same without the screaming.
