Epic fail, epic fail, epic fail! if you want to waste your time and or if you are suicidal go ahead and jump off cliff its less painful! worst cast ever! Two positive things about are it actually airs on Croatian RTL and who the hell is watching that? Second it gave lots of jobs to untalented people. And that is good since unemployment is off the charts in Croatia! But you really want to lose time, this is good to laugh at! And they are doing reruns now, guess those executives will never learn? There were lots of horrible TV show made last few years in Croatia, but this one is truly the worst ever. Actually I don't understand how someone can even think off something like that, not to mention make a series about it, and thats not even worst part of it! Whats truly amazing is how to sell that stuff to network?

The greatest show in Croatian, and quite likely, worldwide television history, Zabranjena Ljubav follows the lives of a modern-day interpretation of the Holy Trinity: businessman Zlatko Fijan, alcoholic Borna Novak and gambler/criminal Igor Carevic, with every other character trying to steal their spotlight. The show also tackles some controversial topics, such as homosexuality, prostitution, pushing people off a boat, and invisible business cards. The title of the show comes from the relationship between Danijel Loncar and Petra Novak, a love so noble and pure, it actually inspired William Shakespeare to create Romeo and Juliet (citation needed). Considered by many to be the greatest work of art since the Mona Lisa, Zabranjena Ljubav took the world by storm, rivaling the fan frenzy of Beatlemania. To sum up, if you've had enough of uninspired and low quality TV, like Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones, I cannot recommend Zabranjena Ljubav enough. It cured my depression, osteoporosis and made me a better human being overall.

This is an epic tale about a brother and sister who want to bang. You may think this would be considered a spoiler, but it is actually insinuated from the first episode, which makes this show even more magical. Unlike other shows, which spend too much episodes on exposition and introducing the characters, this show goes right to the point, and by episode 5 there are already incestuous actions, a murder, a failed business deal, one of the main characters on a run from the police, failed marriage proposition and many more. I would like to point out that episodes are 20 minutes long and there are 800 characters, and it takes talent to pack that much drama and people into small packages like this. I will hint that later in the show you also get some gay drama, so that's something to look forward to. In almost all episodes you can see a big microphone hanging from a ceiling, which gives the show a natural feeling - no fancy editing in this one boys! Overall, best show, 10/10, would watch again.
  • Two twins, Daniel and Petra, are separated when they were babies as their ambitious mother Victoria left their father Josip alone with one of the twins. When they meet by chance on their 22nd birthday this drama series starts, and the first main storyline is whether or not they will get to know that they are related. Their two families (of different world, hence the title) are upper and middle class. Daniel's brother Matija elopes with Lana to live as outcasts, as Lana's mother Vesna blames Daniel and Matija for the murder of her husband. Igor, Iva's boyfriend is suspected in killing Tomislav Kos. His girlfriend Iva is Daniel's and Matija's sister Iva, who is torn between her family and boyfriend. One day Viktorija mysteriously dissappears for no reason with the family fortune and leaves the family in bankrupcy as Stjepan's first wife Karolina (Vesna Tominac) enters the picture to make more fuss.

    Warning: Spoilers
A phenomenal older guard of actors led by Velimir Cokljat and Katja Zubcic who have a chemistry that any real director would like to have in the frame because their chemistry burns even in scenes where the focus is not on them. A story about a man who raised someone else's child as his own, he loved both of his wives and they thanked him for that in a nice way, one of them had stolen him, lied to him about how many children he actually had, lied to him that she had left a newborn child, and that Danijel is her son, and the other lied that she was paralyzed from an accident and then she suddenly stood up and had sex with her physiotherapist in the shower, she loves her family, and what does a daughter who ran away have to do with that, a spoiled and quite immoral woman. In the end, he realized that in his life he loved only Lidija, that he loved others among them, he was looking for her and that it was always only Lidija, which is quite strange considering that Lidija is Stjapan's best friend, she was always his shoulder to bear, support, comforter, comfort, support and strength in the most difficult moments of life, she was there to comfort him and be his shoulder to cry on, and he was blind next to his own healthy eyes and never felt anything, and in the end they got married. Petra is a young girl who is a romantic at heart, who believes in true love and is looking for true, pure and sincere love. I like her because we are the same, we are just looking for true, pure and sincere love, someone who will starve us like Stipan starves Danica, so that he doesn't see anyone and nothing but me, someone who is my soul mate, my better half, that I am his destiny and he is mine, that I am destined for him and he for me someone who would be our prince from fairy tales and that we can be sure that we are his princesses which means someone who would know how to defend us if someone attacks us like Danica Stipan from the minister someone who would be the love of my life, we just want love to happen to us.
