| Best behind the scenes look at making a monster
"The Making of 'Tremors'" is a video made by Universal Studios in 1998. It was to go with its DVD sales after 2000 of the 1990 sci-fi film "Tremors." At 53 minutes long, this behind the scenes documentary is beyond the 45-minute top end for "shorts."

It has the usual appearances of the film director (Ron Underwood), producers, cameramen, special effects and other crew members. And, some of the film's stars get their comments in about the film. But, the most interesting thing about this special is how the monsters were made and filmed.

This film goes into detail and shows various aspects of the monster and how it was made and operated. Most young people especially might find that interesting. This answers the question so often asked in the movie. It shows where the monsters came from.
